Sunday, March 26, 2006 Luscious Greens Our performance the past saturday at the Sentosa Golf Club marked another first for the group: STRIIIINGS' Piano Quintet Performance! For the first time, the pianist was free to indulge in double handed pianistic runs as the bass line was enforced by the presence of the cello. The group really showed off the variety of our specially arranged repertoire, from the spiritual selections during the wedding solemnization in the function room on the third level, to classical renditions as a string quartet outside the ballroom, to full blown jazzy and classy tango pieces within the ballroom during dinner proper. And it was a joy to accompany young Arriana on her violin, who dedicated a Romanze to the newly wedding couple. It's always nice to know that we've helped inspire young talents!
