Luscious Greens

Our performance the past saturday at the Sentosa Golf Club marked another first for the group: STRIIIINGS' Piano Quintet Performance!

For the first time, the pianist was free to indulge in double handed pianistic runs as the bass line was enforced by the presence of the cello. The group really showed off the variety of our specially arranged repertoire, from the spiritual selections during the wedding solemnization in the function room on the third level, to classical renditions as a string quartet outside the ballroom, to full blown jazzy and classy tango pieces within the ballroom during dinner proper.

And it was a joy to accompany young Arriana on her violin, who dedicated a Romanze to the newly wedding couple. It's always nice to know that we've helped inspire young talents! Also kudos to Hannah from Heaven's Gift, she's absolutely professional, and a joy to work with.

Church Wedding

Although some members of STRIIIINGS are agnostic, listening to the Pastor's exhortation to the newly married couple about love, dedication and patience along with funny anecdotes never fails to put a smile on everyone.

The group performed as a string quartet in the the late morning at the Church at Barker's Road, before rushing over to the Four Seasons to perform as a piano trio. The couple very kindly provided food for us too, and Four Season's menu never disappoints.

We received a very nice message from the couple, one of the longest testimonial for STRIIIINGS ever, which we've very gratefully put on on our website :) It always feels wonderful to know that we've been part of our clients' very significant event in their lives.
