Third of Hyatt Series

Sunday's wedding was also in the Grand Ballroom. The client was a guest from a previous wedding, and it was very pleasant seeing our former clients again.

Our group was asked to perform Over the Rainbow to kick off our performance, and though it was for one set, we squeezed in as many songs as possible, for we really enjoy performing, and one hour was far too short!

Second of Hyatt Series

Saturday's wedding was at the Grand Ballroom of Hyatt this time. The group was asked to perform a string duet in the reception area for half an hour, before moving into the ballroom proper, with its special musician alcove!

Our favourite sound technician was there, and again, he tuned the mikes to perfection, bringing out the best for the piano trio. We performed I Believe from My Sassy Girl for the couple's march in, and many love themes for the next three hours.

The tables near the alcove were listening very intently, and they broke out in an applause when we did our favourite Flight of the Bumblebee!

First of Hyatt Series

Hyatt is turning out to be a favourite of STRIIIINGS, due to the presence of not one, but TWO lovely grand pianos, a Kawaii at Stamford Ballroom, and a Yamaha in the Grand Ballroom.

Sunday evening's wedding was at the Stamford Ballroom, and our piano quartet worked extremely well with the dedicated soundman from Hyatt, who made the group sound even more fantastic with meticulously adjusted miking.

The audience was extremely appreciative of our music as well, we had applause nearly after every song that the group played. They even applauded the first violinist when she played a lovely solo!

At the end of it all, the group was asked to perform an encore, which the group did, gladly!
