Adding Class and Elegance to Weddings and Corporate Events over the week

STRIIIINGS and its members have been rather busy this week! On Tuesday, our piano trio group was selected to be part of a promotional event by The Ritz Carlton Group to showcase what the hotel could provide for their corporate clients. It was a rather heady experience rubbing shoulders with the who's who of the corporate world! It was a rather interesting experiment too, to place the trio right in the centre of the room!

Saturday's event at the Ritz Carlton required Sophia, our emcee, as well as a cocktail solo pianist. It was a pleasure to run through the solo repertoire on the piano, especially on a lovely baby grand at the cocktail area just outside the grand ballroom. A little girl was totally entranced with flight of the bumble bee, as well as a solo version of Mario and Mappy. We could have just inspired the next generation! Sophia delivered an inspired performance too, it is usually not a mean feat to be able to address a crowd, let alone one the size of last night's! There were sixty tables with ten at each table!

Today, our core music group split into two separate piano groups, a piano trio at the Four Seasons hotel at the Window East Room, and another at The Art's House. All the guests on both sides were captivated by our unique repertoire, led by our flamboyant pianists. Here below are rare pictures of our group at The Art's House.

And here are some photos from our other group at the Four Seasons led by our other resident pianist, Sher Maine.

The most fascinating thing of all was that our male emcee, Jiang Hong, was required to act as the Justice of Peace at the Raffle's Hotel today. It was an interesting experience, and a testament to how versatile our talent pool is at STRIIIINGS.
