An Evening Among Watches
This evening's performance at the Fullerton Boathouse was extra special when the fireworks sparkled overhead. Our client's guests were treated to Japanese food, lovely music from our group, a panoramic view of the Singapore river and a colourful display in the night sky and beautiful models with new watches.
Our client, Citizen, wanted an hour of Japanese music, so we arranged even more songs by japanese composers to add to our already extensive repertoire. Thus the tradition Sakura Sakura, Joe Hisaishi's love waltz Itsumo Nando Demo, Nobuo Uematsu's Melodies of Life made their debut, along with our other songs, including Inochi No Namae, Suteki Da Ne and Eyes on Me.
Everything wound down at the end of the evening, though our group was pleasantly surprised by requests, which the group gladly performed. The guest also requested for piano solos too! It's always fantastic to receive requests, even though we may not be able to perform the piece as it may not be arranged for the group, but it tells us that people are enjoying our music, and it really perks the whole group up knowing that our performance is appreciated!
