Merchant Court Hotel

It was a fantastic evening, full of energy and spunk at Merchant Court Hotel tonight. The bride actually downloaded and used my piano recording of My Sassy Girl's Love and Longing theme for her video montage, so we decided to make it the "theme" song of the evening, and played two different versions of it during the course of the dinner, a modified solo piano version during their champagne pouring, and later on, a full quartet version of it.

Then we played I Believe during the groom's speech, and I did the ebb and rise effect again on the piano with great success, quite a number of guests asked us for our namecards, which was a really great pat on our backs :)

The best thing of all was that my gang actually decided to stay on with me, even though they were not supposed to. And we played till we ran out of quartet arrangements! Unbelievable. And the couple was very kind to let us have food from the dinner menu too, with our very own table! Needless to say, it was another enjoyable performance, we only wish we had more like tonight's!
